Eligibility for Admission in M.S.(By Research) Programme :
Candidates having First Class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline with a valid GATE score in Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC) / Instrumentation Engineering (IN).
Final selections will be based on a written test and interview to be conducted separately by the department.
Eligibility for Admission in Ph.D. Programme :
Candidates with a B.E./B.Tech./M.E. /M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC) / Instrumentation Engineering (IN) with First Class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)are eligible to apply for the doctoral program in MIC. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and interview at IIT-Mandi on a pre-specified date. The final selection is based on the performance in the test and interview. (B.E./B.Tech. candidates requiring institute financial support must have a valid GATE score.)
